Introduction

You can use this web resource to enhance your understanding of lifelong fitness and review what was presented in class. It includes worksheets, web topics, vocabulary terms (in English) with and without definitions to aid in studying and memorization, and a list of vocabulary terms in Spanish. Also included are interactive quizzes for each chapter of your Fitness for Life text, which let you test your knowledge of concepts, terminology, and more. You will also find video clips that demonstrate how to do the self- assessment exercises in most chapters. In addition to the chapter-specific resources, each month we will post links to health, fitness, and technology topics of interest. These monthly postings are in the Trends and Technology area of this resource. We hope that this web resource helps you to individualize your learning experience so that you can connect to, expand, and apply your learning, enhancing your success and enjoyment.
